CORDILLERA Is Karen Becker and Michael Reddin and our
family of Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. We live in the wonderful city of Omaha
Nebraska
(known locally as O!) on the Missouri River. We currently are owned by 4 Swissys
We are the only swissy breeder in Nebraska. We are also
the most Experienced and Committed GSMD Breeders within 8 hours of the Colorado
Front Range. We have
just moved to Nebraska from Colorado and that is where most of our puppies
are placed. We got our first Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Luc (pictured below)
in 1997
and fell head first into the purebred dog world and the Swissy Community. After
4 years of experience with the breed we felt that we had what it took to become
small scale breeders.
We are active in Conformation, Weight Pulling and Drafting and We have dabbled
in Herding, Agility and Obedience.
We consider Breeding Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs a serious avocation. We are committed to producing beautiful, healthy, well tempered dogs that fit into responsible family's lives. Knowing that only a small percentage of dogs that we produce will be seriously shown, bred or trained to compete in working events we understand that like every other Greater Swiss Mountain Dog breeder we are primarily producing companion dogs.
